Happy Halloween

They really don't celebrate Halloween here. ...but we did. Mari got creative with the pumpkin on the right.

Mari decided she wanted to be a bit scary for school. Not to be left out, Elise was also given this liberty. Yes, they did scare people at the school. I guess it was well received. Most people probably didn't understand, but in the end I imagine it got around.

The annual frosting of pumpkin and ghost shaped cookies. Of note: you can't go to the store and get bags of candy here... not that anyone was going to come to our door. I suppose I should say that the girls and I were concerned what we would do for the holiday. I had suggested instead of asking for candy, we reverse it. In other words, go to school dressed up and hand out candy. Big ideas. This is difficult to do when you can't buy candy. So we made cookies and ate them our selves!

This is fairly self explanatory. Just some pics. hope you enjoy.
